Since I saw the video on reddit we can 'root' or 'jailbreak' or 'exploit' the Tesla software, I'm incredibly curious what this will enable. I have always been curious about performance modifications much like the ICE aftermarket, but for EVs they seem even more reliant on software exploits to unlock additional performance. While it may not be realistic to strap on a more powerful motor or replace our battery, I think there are lots of little software hacks that could make it enjoyable much like it is for our phones. If you look at XDA Developers, that place is flourishing with things like that.
