There have been two other fast charging networks announced already for the European market. Ionity, which is backed by the likes of BMW, Mercedes, Ford and Volkswagen, and Ultra-E which is backed by BMW once again, Audi, Allego, Magna, Renault, Hubject and more. Both charging networks will offer 350 kW charging capacity which is faster than anything available prior.

But now Allego, an Ultra-E backer, has announced a new network it is working on called MEGA-E, which will be comprised of over 322 Ultra-fast chargers with a 350 kW charging capacity and 27 smart charging hubs throughout 20 different European countries. The charging hubs are being described as a gas station with multiple charging technologies available in one place.

Look out for the MEGA-E brand if you live in one of these countries:

Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and United Kingdom.
